1. Acceptance
By submitting a booking request with Iventure, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. They apply to all tours, activities, and related services provided by Iventure.
If you are booking on behalf of a group, you accept these terms on behalf of all group members and are responsible for ensuring they are aware of them.
2. Booking and reservations
All bookings are subject to availability and written confirmation. Submitting a request does not in itself create a confirmed reservation.
A booking is confirmed only once you receive written acceptance from Iventure by email or WhatsApp. We reserve the right to decline a booking request at our discretion.
It is the guest's responsibility to provide accurate and complete information, including guest count, special requirements, and correct contact details.
3. Payment terms
Payment terms are confirmed as part of the booking process. A deposit may be required to secure the reservation, with the remaining balance due before the tour date.
Accepted payment methods are communicated at the time of booking. Prices are quoted in the relevant booking currency and may change before confirmation.
Full or partial payment, where requested, constitutes your agreement to these terms.
4. Cancellation policy
All cancellations must be made in writing by email to bookings@iventuretours.net or via WhatsApp. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.
The following cancellation schedule applies:
- 48 hours or more before the tour: full refund of deposit
- 24 to 48 hours before the tour: 50% of deposit retained
- Less than 24 hours before the tour or no-show: full tour amount forfeited
Where applicable, refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days using the original payment method.
5. Tour changes
Iventure reserves the right to alter, modify, or cancel a tour, itinerary, or activity due to weather, safety, access, operational requirements, or other conditions affecting the day.
If Iventure cancels a tour, we will offer either an alternative arrangement of comparable value or a refund of amounts paid. We are not liable for additional external costs or losses arising from such changes.
6. Health and safety
Guests must inform Iventure of any relevant medical conditions, disabilities, allergies, dietary needs, or access considerations at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to refuse participation to any guest who, in the reasonable opinion of our staff or guides, poses a risk to their own safety or the safety of others. In such cases, no refund is guaranteed.
All guests must follow guide and staff safety instructions at all times.
7. Liability
Iventure is not liable for loss, injury, damage, delay, or additional expense arising directly or indirectly from participation in our tours, except where caused directly by our proven negligence.
Guests participate in all tours at their own risk. We strongly recommend that guests obtain suitable travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and personal liability.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by proven negligence where such limitation would be unlawful.
8. Photography and media
Iventure may photograph, film, or record tours and activities for use in marketing materials, social media, and the website. By participating in a tour, you consent to possible inclusion unless you notify us otherwise in writing before the tour date.
Guests are welcome to capture personal photos and video, provided they remain considerate of wildlife, the environment, and other guests.
9. Force majeure
Iventure is not liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This may include extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, travel advisories, civil unrest, or third-party service failure.
In these situations, we will try to offer an alternative arrangement, credit, or refund where reasonably possible.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia. Any disputes arising from these terms or from the use of our services are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Namibia.
